Guiding Light Connexions is a metaphysical gift shop located in Colombo Street, Christchurch, just around the corner from the Town Hall. We have a great variety of gifts ranging from fairies and angels to dragons and wizards. We also have a variety of gifts by local artisans and a large catalogue full of Oracle, Affirmation and Tarot cards that can be ordered on request. One of our mottoes is “if you can’t see it just ask, and if we don't have it we may be able to get it!”

Guiding Light is owned by Cathy, and was born years ago as an idea by Cathy and her two sisters, Jenni and Lyn, after a clairvoyant foresaw the three of them working together. The shop in its present form opened in June 2004 and is run by Cathy, with help from sister Jenni, giving readings and helping in the shop 3 days a week.

Our aim is to provide a peaceful and tranquil environment for anyone to enjoy, whether it is just browsing the shelves, in-depth discussions about the meaning of life, or on a mission to find that elusive gift or supply for yourself or someone you love.

We have a number of gifted people who give readings at the shop. They are all extremely popular and bookings are a must!
